IND vs BAN: In recent updates, India's captain Rohit Sharma has been ruled out of the 2nd Test as well. Rohit Sharma sustained a thumb injury in the 2nd ODI against Bangladesh and missed the 3rd ODI as well as the 1st Test match. 

According to reports, Rohit Sharma's thumb hasn't fully healed and the team management isn't in the mood to risk further complicating the injury. In his absence, KL Rahul will continue leading the Indian team, who defeated Bangladesh by 188 runs in the 1st Test.

This will also ease the team management's concern about making the choice between KL Rahul, Shubman Gill and other batters to fit in Rohit Sharma. 

The 2nd Test between India and Bangladesh is set to start on December 22nd at Shere Bangla National Stadium, Dhaka, where the team India would look to win and stay strong in the race to the WTC finals.
