IND vs BAN: After Shubman Gill's maiden ton, Cheteshwar Pujara ended his 46-month-long century drought as India declared their second innings on 258/2 with a lead of 512 runs.
Pujara completed his 19th Test ton off 130 balls, which is his fastest century in Tests. The #3 batter smacked 13 fours in his innings and remained unbeaten. Virat Kohli also scored an unbeaten 19 runs off 29 balls and focused on keeping the strike with Pujara.
Prior to this, Shubman Gill smacked his maiden international ton, scoring 110 runs with 10 fours & 3 sixes. Bangladesh now needs 513 runs to win the 1st Test.
Earlier, India captain KL Rahul won the toss & opted to bat first against Bangladesh in the first Test. This match is being played at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium.
