IND vs BAN: After losing 4 wickets for 112 runs, Cheteshwar Pujara and Shreyas Iyer played steadily with the highest 5th wicket partnership between India-Bangladesh tests.
While Rishabh Pant counterattacked after losing 3 wickets for 48 runs, as he smacked 46 runs off 45 balls with 6 fours & 2 sixes, his dismissal at 112 runs yet again concerned India.
However, Cheteshwar Pujara and Shreyas Iyer steadied the Indian innings as they etched a partnership of 149 runs for the 5th wicket. While Pujara scored 90 runs off 203 balls, Shreyas Iyer remained unbeaten on 82 runs in 169 balls.
Axar Patel (14) looked good in his 25-ball stay before he was dismissed on the last delivery of the day. For Bangladesh, spinner Taijul Islam picked up 3 wickets while Mehidy Hasan Miraz scalped two wickets. Khaled Ahmed also picked up a wicket.
