Umesh Yadav was the pick of the bowlers with 4 wickets to his name, while Ashwin also scalped 4 wickets to his name. Making his comeback after 12 years, pacer Jaydev Unadkat registered 2 wickets to his name. Mohammed Siraj and Axar Patel remained wicket less.
Mominul Haque was the top scorer with his knock of 84 runs laced with 84 runs. However,, none of the other batters were able to convert a good start into a big score as none of the partnerships crossed the 5-run mark. No other batter were able to score more than 30 runs individually.
Earlier, Bangladesh captain Shakib Al Hasan won the toss & opted to bat first against India in the 2nd Test. This match is being played at Shere Bangla National Stadium, Dhaka.
