England captain Joe Root creates a record after scoring his 20th Test Century. Root is playing his 100th test match today in Chennai.
As soon as he scored his completed his century, Root became the eighth batsman to score a century in the 100th test match. He has entered the elite list which consists of Colin Cowdrey, Javed Miandad, Gordon Greenidge, Alec Stewart, Inzamam-ul-Haq, Ricky Ponting, Graeme Smith, and Hashim Amla.
Joe Root became the first player to score a hundred in 98th, 99th, and 100th test match.
