IND vs NZ: Rain has been frustrating the ground staff, fans, and players at Hamilton as the play was stopped yet again in the 2nd ODI between India and New Zealand.
After the rain intervened in the 5th over and the game was reduced to 29 overs a side, the rai yet again made its appearance in the 13th over as the players walked off. The ground staff has rushed in bigger covers and looking at the conditions, more overs will be lost at best if the game isn't entirely called off.
It is worth keeping in mind that a minimum of 20 overs have to be played by each side to conclude the match with a result. At the second rain break, India are at 89/1 in 12.5 overs. Shubman Gill (45*) and Suryakumar Yadav (34*) are at the crease with an unbeaten 66-run partnership between them for the 2nd wicket.
...and the drizzle returns!
