IND vs NZ: Shubman Gill continued his excellent form as he notched his 3rd ODI ton and his top score in ODIs, steering India to _ against New Zealand in the 1st ODI. 

While India lost captain and opener Rohit Sharma (34) in the 13th over to Blair Tickner, and Virat Kohli (8) was dismissed by Santner in the 16th over, Gill held the crease. The 23-year-old notched his 2nd consecutive ODI ton, scoring 208 runs in 149 balls with 19 fours & 9 sixes. 

Gill's 208 is the highest score for an Indian against New Zealand in ODIs.

Suryakumar Yadav contributed with 31 runs while Hardik Pandya scored 28 runs. Ishan Kishan failed as he scored just 5 runs while batting at #4. For New Zealand, medium pacers Daryl Mitchell & Henry Shipley picked up 2 wickets each while Lockie Ferguson, Blair Tickner and Mitchell Santner managed 1 wicket each.

While talking about the match, India captain Rohit Sharma won the toss & opted to bat first against New Zealand in the 1st ODI. This match is being played at Rajiv Gandhi International Stadium, Hyderabad.
