India vs Sri Lanka: Shreyas Iyer made full use of the opportunity he received as he powered India to a 7-wicket win while chasing a target of 184. India have now built an unassailable lead of 2-0 in the 3-match T20I series against Sri Lanka.
India got off to a below-par start after losing both in-form openers Rohit Sharma & Ishan Kishan inside the powerplay. Shreyas Iyer, however, who came on to bat at #3, smacked his second consecutive half-century of this series as he smacked an unbeaten 74 runs off 44 balls with 6 fours and 4 sixes.
Iyer was assisted by Sanju Samson 39(25) and Ravindra Jadeja 45*(18) who played an explosive knock at the end to take India to a 7-wicket win with 2.5 overs remaining. India clinched the series with this win and extended their winning run to 11 matches in a row now.
