IND vs SL: After a tremendous performance with the bat, team India were equally dominant with the ball as they bowled out Sri Lanka for 73 in the 3rd ODI, winning the match by 317 runs. With this win, India have completed a 3-0 clean sweep in the 3-match series.

Chasing 391 runs to win, Sri Lanka were once again dealt early blows by Mohammed Siraj, who dismissed Avishka Fernando (1), Kusal Mendis (4) and Nuwanidu Fernando (19) within the first 10 overs. 

Kuldeep Yadav and Mohammed Shami also picked up a wicket each in the first 10 overs as Sri Lanka lost all their main batters inside the first 10 overs. None of the players managed to reach the 20-run mark. For India, Mohammed Siraj picked up 4 wickets while Shami & Kuldeep managed 2 wickets

In the first innings, Virat Kohli and Shubman Gill scored terrific tons, powering India to 390/5 against Sri Lanka in the 3rd ODI. Sri Lanka will now need 391 runs in 50 overs to avoid a 3-0 clean sweep in the series.

Opting to bat first, India got off to a good start as openers Rohit Sharma and Shubman Gill added 95 runs in 15 overs for the first wicket. Rohit was dismissed by Chamika Karunaratne in the 16th over but Gill continued at the other end. 

Shubamn Gill scored 116 runs in 97 balls (4x14,6x2) before he was dismissed by Kasun Rajitha. However, Virat Kohli was the top scorer as he was in terrific form, smacking an unbeaten 166 runs in 110 balls with 13 fours & 8 sixes. 

For Sri Lanka, Kasun Rajitha and Lahiru Kumara picked up 2 wickets each while Karunaratne registered 1 wicket to his name.

Earlier, India captain Rohit Sharma won the toss & opted to bat first against Sri Lanka in the 3rd ODI. This match is being played at Greenfield International Stadium, Thiruvananthapuram.
