IND vs AUS 2nd Test: India continued their dominance at home as they defeated Australia by 6 wickets in the 2nd session to retain the Border Gavaskar Trophy. India have a 2-0 lead in the series after finishing the first two Tests within three days each.
With 101 runs required, captain Rohit Sharma looked eager to finish the match before he was unluckily run out after scoring 31 runs in 20 balls. While Rohit Sharma was run out for the first time in his Test career, Virat Kohli was stumped out for the first time in his Test career as Todd Murphy got the wicket.
Kohli scored 20 runs in 31 balls, while Shreyas Iyer was dismissed for 12 runs after trying to smack Nathan Lyon out of the park. KS Bharat remained not out on 23 runs in 22 balls while Cheteshwar Pujara stood sturdy on 31*(74) as India chased down the total with 6 wickets remaining.
