India beat England by 36 runs in the 5th T20I to clinch the five-match series 3-2.
England, while chasing the target of 225, were cruising their way with 130 runs in 13 overs after losing Jason Roy in the first over of the innings. Dawid Malan and Jos Buttler were smacking the bowlers all around the park before Bhuvneshwar Kumar got the breakthrough.
The England innings faltered after that as they continued to lose wickets at regular intervals. Bhuvneshwar Kumar ended with brilliant figures of 2/15 in the four overs.
Earlier, Virat Kohli and Rohit Sharma powered India to a mammoth 225 in the first innings. The two added 94 for the opening wicket with Rohit scoring 64 of them while Kohli playing the anchor.
Suryakumar Yadav came and smashed 32 from 17 balls. Kohli and Hardik Pandya finished the innings well with an unbeaten partnership of 81 in 45 balls. Indian captain carried the bat with 80 runs from 52 balls.
