The Indian team got all out for 337 on the first session of the day 4 giving England a healthy lead of 241 runs.
Resuming the day on 257/6, Washington Sundar and R Ashwin played out the first 45 minutes well and tried to score a few boundaries. Sundar reached his second fifty of his career, adding 17 to his overnight score of 33.
Ashwin scored 31 before getting a top-edge off a Jack Leach delivery which got an extra bounce. Leach claimed his second victim, Shahbaz Nadeem, who got out without scoring.
Ishant Sharma struck a boundary but couldn't cope with a bouncer from James Anderson and got out. Bumrah was removed soon for a duck.
Rishabh Pant top-scored for India with his blistering 91, while Washington Sundar remained not-out on 85.
