India's spin trio kept the New Zealand batters guessing as they bowled them out for 296 in the 3rd session of day 3 in the 1st test match. 

Axar Patel picked up his fifth five-wicket haul of the test career, R Ashwin picked three while Ravindra Jadeja and Umesh Yadav got one each. 

For New Zealand, Tom Latham scored 95 while his opening partner Will Young made 89.
