India ends day 2 on top as they lead England by 249 runs in the 2nd test.
It was bowlers' day out at Chennai as a total of 15 wickets fell. India were bowled out in the first session for 329 as Moeen Ali finished with the figures of 4/128.
In reply, England lost the plot completely as they got bowled for 134. R Ashwin picked his 29th five-wicket haul as he took 5/43. Ben Foakes top-scored for England with an unbeaten 42.
India came out to play the final hour of day 2 and started well. Shubman Gill and Rohit Sharma were proactive on a tricky pitch. However, Jack Leach removed Gill for 14 to give England their first breakthrough.
Injured Pujara and Rohit comfortably played the rest of the session without losing any wicket.
