India is off to a decent start chasing the target of 187 set by Australia in the first innings. Despite losing an early wicket of KL Rahul in the first over, Virat Kohli and Shikhar Dhawan have managed to keep up with the run-rate and ended the powerplay with 55 runs on the board. 

KL Rahul got out for a duck for the first time since his debut back in 2016. He was caught on the boundary by Steve Smith off Glenn Maxwell's delivery. Kohli also tried to hit the same shot but this time Smith dropped the catch giving a second life to the Indian skipper.
