India wins the 4th test match against England by an innings and 25 runs on Saturday as they clinch the series 3-1.
R Ashwin and Axar Patel took five wickets each in the third innings to bowl England out for 135 runs. The visitors were trailing India by 160 runs.
Rishabh Pant and Washington Sundar were stars for India with the bat. They stitched an important 113 run partnership on day 2 when India was in trouble. Pant hit his third test century while Sundar remained not out on 96 as India got bowled out for 365 earlier on day 3.
England had won the toss and opted to bat first. Axar and Ashwin once again struck with the ball and bowled England out for 205 on the first day itself.
With this win, India confirms its place in the World Test Championship(WTC) finals. They will be playing against New Zealand in Lord's.
