Indian captain Mithali Raj announced her retirement from international cricket on Wednesday (June 8th). T20 captain Harmanpreet Kaur has been named as the ODI captain as well and will be leading the Indian women's team for the upcoming tour of Sri Lanka in  June-July 2022.

India will play a 3-match T20I series against Sri Lanka, commencing from 23rd June in Dambulla. The T20I series will be followed by 3-match ODI series from 1st July in Kandy.
