Ind W vs Aus W: After valourous batting from Smriti Mandhana and Richa Ghosh, the Indian women's team registers their first win of the series against Australia here at DY Patil Stadium.

Smriti Mandhana and Shefali Verma gave a good start with the bat while chasing s big target of 188 runs. Mandhana thrashed 79 runs in 49 deliveries including 9 fours and 4 sixes and Shefali got 34 of 23 balls. 

Australia bounced back and took wickets in quick successions but Richa Ghosh was in a mood to put breaks on the Aussies' form. Ghosh smacked 26 runs at a strike rate of 200 including 3 sixes in 13 balls. 

Till the end of 20 overs, the total was leveled which took the game to a super-over.

The in-form Richa, Mandhana, and Harmanpreet came to bat and thrashed 20 runs in one over. Australia came to chase 21 runs but Alyssa Healy's side could only get 16 runs and therefore faced a defeat in the super-over.

Earlier in the match, Australia came to bat first and scored 187/1 runs with the help of Beth Mooney who smashed 82 runs in 54 balls, and Tahlia McGrath's 70 runs in 51 balls. Both the batters went unbeaten.
