Former team India all-rounder Roger Binny can be named as the new president of the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BBCI). According to a report by Dainik Jagran, Sourav Ganguly's tenure as the BCCI president is to end soon. Ganguly was made the BCCI president in October 2019.
In the annual BCCI meeting on Thursday (6ht October), which went on till 1 AM in the night. Sourav Ganguly, Jay Shah, Rajiv Shukla, N. Srinivasan, Arun Singh Dhumal and others attended this meeting.
Jay Shah and Arun Singh Dhumal will continue in their posts of Secretary and Treasurer for the BCCI. Apart from this, Rajiv Shukla, Anirudh Chaudhry, Rohan Jaitley, and Sanjay Behera/Devajit Saikia can hold different positions on the board and in the IPL.

It is noteworthy that Roger Binny has previously held the post of selector in the BCCI. Binny was also part of the World Cup-winning Indian squad in World Cup 1983, where he was the top-wicket taker in the tournament with 18 scalps to his name.
