May 20 (CRICKETNMORE) - Sunrisers Hyderabad, Chennai Super Kings, and Kolkata Knight Riders have qualified for the playoffs of Indian Premier League 2018. However, there is tough competition for the 4th spot between Mumbai Indians, Rajasthan Royals and Kings XI Punjab.
# Mumbai Indians who will take on Delhi Daredevils in the first game of Sunday at Feroz Shah Kotla. To qualify, they only need to win as they have a better run rate.
# Kings XI Punjab will face Chennai Super Kings in the last league game of this season in Pune. Their qualification is bit complicated: First, they need Delhi to beat Mumbai. Then in order to have a better NRR than Rajasthan Royals, they must beat Chennai by at least 53 (or more) runs or chase any target with 38 (or more) balls to spare.
# To qualify for playoffs, Rajasthan entry depends upon the victory of Delhi over Mumbai and then defeat of KXIP. Or even if KXIP win, they must win by less than 53 runs or chase the target with less than 38 balls remaining.
