Kolkata Knight Riders Captain Eoin Morgan Won the toss and elected to Field first against Mumbai Indians in the fifth match of IPL 2021. The match is being played at MA Chidambaram Stadium, Chennai.

KKR had won their first match, while MI had lost the opening match of the season. However, KKR is on a losing streak against MI (9 out of the last 10 matches) & would like to break the cycle.
