Chennai Super Kings, with the help of their spin bowling and fielding efforts, were able to beat Rajasthan Royals by 45 runs in the 12th match of the IPL 2021. Jos Buttler (49) provided a good start but wickets started tumbling in front of the CSK spin attack. Moeen Ali picked up 3 wickets while Jadeja & Sam Curran picked up 2 wickets each. Ravindra Jadeja also took 4 catches to stop RR at 143/9.
For RR, no one apart from Buttler was able to spend time at the crease
In the first innings, CSK posted 188/9 against RR. Faf scored 33 and Rayudu scored 27runs. For RR, Chetan Sakariya picked up three wickets, including the wicket of MS Dhoni. Chris Morris picked up two wickets as well.
