Delhi Capitals with the help of a good batting performance were comfortably able to chase down 167 and defeat Punjab Kings by 7 wickets in the 29th match of the IPL 2021. DC started off aggressively, adding 63 runs in the 6 overs. Prithvi Shaw (39) got out on the first ball of the 7th over, but Shikhar Dhawan (69*) held one end and guided his team to victory.

For PBKS, Chris Jordan, Harpreet Brar & Riley Meredith picked up one wicket each.

In the first innings, PBKS posted 166/6 against DC. Although Delhi bowlers took wickets at regular intervals, captain Mayank Agarwal (99*) held one end throughout the 20 overs and managed to post 166 runs. For DC, Rabada picked up three wickets, and Avesh Khan & Axar Patel picked one wicket each.
