Prithvi Shaw (82) powered Delhi Capitals to a comfortable win against Rajasthan Royals in 25th match of the IPL 2021. Shaw and Dhawan (46) provided an opening stand of 132 runs in 13 overs, which made things easy for Capitals who were chasing 155. SHaw scored his fifty off mere 18 balls. DC reached the target with 21 balls remaining.
Shaw struck 6 fours in the first over against his former U-19 teammate Mavi and continued the carnage. He struck 11 fours & 3 sixes, maintaing a strike rate of 200. For KKR, Pat Cummins picked up three wickets.
In the first innings, KKR with the help of Shubman Gill (43) and birthday boy Andre Russell (45*), posted 154/6 against DC. Andre Russell smashed 2 fours and 4 sixes to take the target to 154. For DC, Axar Patel & Lalit Yadav both picked up two wickets each. Delhi now has to chase 155 to win this match.
