Rajasthan Royals with fantastic bowling were able to defeat Srunrisers Hyderabad by 55 runs in the 28th match of the IPL 2021. Mustafizur Rehman & Chris Morris picked up 3 wickets each to stop SRH at 165/8.
A number of batsmen got a start for SRH, but none of them was able to stay at the crease long enough and the target of 220 proved to be too much.
In the first innings, RR with the help of its remarkable batting was able to post 220/3. Royals lost their first wicket in the 4th over but Jos Buttler (124) had other plans in my mind. He smashed 11 fours & 4 sixes to take the RR total to 200+. Buttler got out in the last over but till then he had already done the job. Samson also scored 48 off 33 balls. For SRH, Rashid Khan, Sandeep Sharma & Vijay Shankar picked up a wicket each.
Earlier, SRH captain Kane Williamson won the toss & elected to field first. This match was played at Arun Jaitley Stadium, Delhi.
