Kolkata Knight Riders opener Shubman Gill found his form and scored 56 which took KKR to 171/4 against Rajasthan Royals. In his 44 ball innings, Gill smashed 4 fours and 2 sixes. V Iyer also scored 38 off 35 balls. 

For RR, Morris, Sakariya, Tewatia and Glenn Phillips picked 1 wicket each.

Earlier, RR captain Sanju Samson won the toss and elected to field first against KKR in the 54th match of the IPL 2021. The match is being played at Sharjah Cricket Stadium, Sharjah.
