Delhi Capitals was able to win the Super Over against Sunrisers Hyderabad in the 20th Match of the IPL 2021. SRH, batting first, scored 7 runs. David Warner & Kane Williamson came to bat for Sunrisers, while Axar Patel bowled the super over for DC. For Delhi, Shikhar Dhawan and Captain pant came to bat against Rashid Khan and were able to score 8 runs to win the match.
In the first innings, DC posted 159/4. Openers Shaw (53) & Dhawan (28) provided a good start but as the game progressed SRH bowling attack came back into the game. Rishabh Pant scored 37 runs and Smith scored 34 to take DC to 159. For SRH, Siddharth Kaul picked up two wickets.
In the second innings, Hyderabad courtesy Kane Williamson (66*) and Jonny Bairstow (38) were able to reach to Delhi’s 159 but weren’t able to cross it. DC bowlers were getting regular wickets but Williamson held one end and took his team to a tie. For SRH, Avesh Khan picked up 2 wickets & Axar Patel picked up two wickets.
