Batting at #3, Ravi Ashwin smacked his maiden fifty, scoring 50 runs in 38 balls with 4 fours and 2 sixes. Padikkal on the other hand smacked 48 runs in 30 balls with 6 fours & 2 sixes. However, none of the other batters managed to cross the 20-run mark.
For DC, Chetan Sakariya, Anrich Nortje & Mitchell Marsh pitched in with 2 wickets each. DC now need 161 runs in 20 overs to win and keep their playoff chances alive.
