DC vs KKR IPL 2022: Delhi Capitals batters held their nerves as they defeated Kolkata Knight Riders by 4 wickets in a close match.

For DC, David Warner was the top scorer with 42 runs in 26 balls with 8 fours. Whereas Rovman Powell in the end smacked an unbeaten 33 runs in 16 balls with 1 four & 3 sixes to take the team to the target with 6 deliveries in hand. 

For KKR, Umesh Yadav picked up 3 wickets while Harshit Rana & Sunil Narine managed 1 wicket each. 

In the first innings, after a top-order rattling performance by Delhi Capitals' bowler, Nitish Rana did well to recover and took Kolkata Knight Riders to a total of 146/9 in 20 overs. 

Nitish Rana scored 57 runs in 34 balls with 3 fours & 4 sixes while captain Shreyas Iyer was the second-highest scorer with 42 runs in 37 balls with 4 boundaries. 

For DC, Kuldeep roared loud again against his former franchise as he picked up 4 wickets in 3 overs, giving away just 14 runs. Mustafizur Rahman picked up 3 wickets while Axar Patel & Chetan Sakariya managed 1 wicket each.

Earlier, DC captain Rishabh Pant won the toss & opted to bowl first against KKR in the 41st match of IPL 2022. This match is being played at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai.
