IPL 2022 GT vs LSG: Gujarat Titans' lower order held their nerves and fired as the team managed to win their first match in IPL, defeating Lucknow Super Giants by 5 wickets.

Dushmantha Chameera provided a good start with 2 wickets inside the first three overs. However, Matthew Wade (30) and Hardik Pandya (33) etched a partnership of 57 runs in 48 balls for the third wicket, and then David Miller (30) and Rahul Tewatita (40*) added 60 runs injust 34 balls for the fifth wicket. 

For LSG, Chameera picked up 2 wickets while Avesh, Krunal and Deepak managed 1 scalp each. 

Earlier, Gujarat Titans' captain Hardik Pandya won the toss and opted to bowl first, after which Lucknow Super Giants posted 158/6 with half-centuries from Deepak Hooda & Ayush Bodani. Shami picked up 3 wickets for GT.
