For RR, Captain Sanju Samson was the top scorer with 54 runs in 49 balls with 7 fours & a six while Shimron Hetmyer smacked an unbeaten 27 runs in 13 balls with a four & 2 sixes. 

For KKR, Tim Southee picked up 2 wickets while Umesh Yadav, Shiva Mavi & Anukul Roy picked up a wicket each.

Earlier, Kolkata Knight Riders captain Shreyas Iyer won the toss & opted to bowl first against Rajasthan Royals in the 47th match of IPL 2022. This match is being played at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai.
