GT vs CSK IPL 2022: David Miller powered Gujarat Titans to a 3-wicket win against Chennai Super Kings in a last-over thriller.
After Titans suffered an early collapse in batting, Miller came out to bat in the 4th over of the match. The batter stayed on the crease till the end and took his team across the finishing on the penultimate delivery of the match. Miller scored 94* off 51 balls with 8 fours and 6 sixes to register an unlikely win for Gujarat.
GT stand-in captain Rashid Khan also played a quick knock of 40 runs in 21 balls at the end to bring the match in Titans' grasp.
For CSK, Dwayne Bravo was the pick of the bowlers with 3 wickets while Maheesh Theekshana picked up 2. Mukesh and captain Ravindra Jadeja managed 1 wicket each.
In the first innings, Ruturaj Gaikwad gained form as Chennai Super Kings managed to post 169/5 against Gujarat Titans.
Gaikwad finally scored 73 runs in 48 balls with 5 fours and 5 sixes while opening the innings. Rayudu was the second-highest run-scorer with 46 runs off 31 balls.
For GT, Alzarri Joseph picked up 2 wickets while Mohammad Shami and Yash Dayal managed 1 wicket each.
