PBKS vs CSK IPL 2022: Punjab Kings' bowling unit kept their nerve after a storm by Ambati Rayudu to defeat defending champions Chennai Super Kings for the second time this season. 

For PBKS, Kagiso Rabada and Rishi Dhawan picked up 2 wickets each. Rabada dismissed opener Ruturaj Gaikwad (30) and top scorer Ambati Rayudu, while Rishi Dhawan managed two important wickets - Shivam Dube (8) and MS Dhoni (12). 

For CSK, Ambati Rayudu was the top scorer with 78 runs in just 39 balls, smacking 7 fours and 6 sixes with a strike rate of 200.00.
In the first innings, Shikhar Dhawan & Bhanuka Rajapaksa played excellent knocks and powered Punjab Kings to 187/4 against Chennai Super Kings. 

Shikhar Dhawan scored an unbeaten 88 runs in 59 balls with 9 fours & 2 sixes while Bhanuka Rajapaksa scored 42 runs from 32 balls with 2 fours and 2 sixes. Both of these etched a partnership of 110 runs in 71 balls for the second wicket. 

For CSK, DJ Bravo picked up 2 wickets while Maheesh Theekshana managed 1 wicket. 

Earlier, Chennai Super Kings captain Ravindra Jadeja won the toss & opted to bowl first against Punjab Kings in the 38th match of IPL 2022. This match is being played at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai.
