RR vs LSG IPL 2022: Rajasthan Royals bowling attack performed brilliantly, halting Lucknow Super Giants at 162/8 and winning the match by 3 runs. 

Yuzvendra Chahal picked up 3 wickets while Kuldeep Sen & Prasidh Krishna managed 1 wicket each. However, the tone of the defence was set with Boult's two consecutive strikes on the first two deliveries, immediately putting LSG on the backfoot. 

Towards the end, Stoinis looked like he might pull off a miracle and win the match with 15 runs required in the last over. Kuldeep Sen, playing his first match of the season, held his nerve and defended 14 runs against the explosive all-rounder. Stoinis remained unbeaten on 38 runs in 17 balls with 2 fours & 4 sixes.

For LSG, Quinton de Kock was the top-scored with 39 runs off 32 balls with 2 fours and a six but was dismissed in the 16th over after opening the innings. 

In the first innings, Continuing his good form, the West Indies' explosive batter smacked his 3rd IPL fifty as Rajasthan Royals posted a total of against Lucknow Super Giants. 

Batting at #5, Shimron Hetmyer smacked unbeaten 56 runs in 36 balls, including four & 6 sixes. It is noteworthy that Hetmyer was dropped by Krunal Pandya when he was just 14. 

Devdutt Padikkal was the second-highest scorer for the Royals with 29 off 29 while opening the innings.

For LSG, Krishnappa Gowtham and Jason Holder picked up 2 wickets each while Avesh Khan managed 1 wicket.
