RCB vs RR IPL 2022: Rajasthan Royals yet again pulled off an exceptional bowling performance after batting first and defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore by 29 runs. 

For RR, Kuldeep Sen was the pick of the bowlers with 4 wickets to his name while Prasidh Krishna picked up 2 wickets while defending a low target of 145. Ravichandran Ashwin also picked up 3 wickets.

For RCB, captain Faf du Plessis was the top scorer with 23 runs in 21 balls with 3 fours and a six while the rest of the batters failed to cross the 20-run mark. RCB failed to play out the full 20 overs and were bundled on 115/10 in 20 overs.

In the first innings, Royal Challengers Bangalore displayed a strong performance after a dismayed last match, restricting Rajasthan Royals to 144/8 in 19.3 overs. 

After Rajasthan Royals were having a hard time facing the RCB bowlers, Riyan Parag batting at #6, came out to bat in the 10th over and finished brilliantly for the team with his unbeaten knock of 56 runs in 31 balls with 3 fours & 4 sixes and powered Royals to a respectable total.

For Royal Challengers Bangalore, Josh Hazlewood, Wanindu Hasaranga & Mohammad Siraj picked up 2 wickets each while Harshal Patel managed 1 wicket. 

Earlier, Royal Challengers Bangalore captain Faf du Plessis won the toss & opted to bowl first against Rajasthan Royals in the 39th match of IPL 2022. This match is being played at Maharashtra Cricket Association Stadium, Pune.
