IPL 2022: RCB Bowlers Down DC As Bangalore Win By 17 Runs

DC vs RCB IPL 2022: Royal Challengers Bangalore put up an excellent bowling performance as the team managed to defeat Delhi Capitals by 16 runs.

For RCB, Hazlewood was the highest wicket-taker with 3 wickets. Mohammad Siraj picked up 2 important wickets of Prithvi Shaw (16) and Rishabh Pant (34), while Hasaranga dismissed Warner(66) by LBW and Mitchell Marsh 14(24) with a run out.

For DC, David Warner was the top scorer with 66 runs in 38 balls with 4 fours and 5 sixes. Pant looked dangerous at the end with 34 runs in 17 balls but was dismissed courtesy of an excellent one-handed catch by former RCB captain Virat Kohli.

In the first innings, Dinesh Karthik played the perfect finisher as he powered Royal Challengers Bangalore to 189/5 in 20 overs against Delhi Capitals.

After RCB lost 5 wickets for 92 runs inside the first 12 overs, Dinesh Karthik played his part to perfection. Starting off cautiously with an occasional boundary, DK switched gears and smacked 28 runs with 4 fours and 2 sixes in the 18th over, being bowled by Mustafizur Rehman.

DK finished unbeaten with 66 runs 34 balls with 5 fours and 5 sixes. Glenn Maxwell was the second-highest scorer with 55 runs in 34 balls with 7 fours and 2 sixes. Shahbaz Ahmed finished with an unbeaten 32 runs in 21 balls.

For DC, Shardul Thakur, Khaleel Ahmed, Axar Patel and Kuldeep Yadav picked up 1 wicket each.
