KKR vs PBKS IPL 2022: Umesh Yadav continued his impressive run in IPL 2022 and picked up 4 wickets as Kolkata Knight Riders restricted Punjab Kings to 137 runs in 18.2 over. 

Punjab Kings lost Mayank Agarwal early on in the first over itself. However, Sri Lankan batter Bhanuka Rajapaksa played a quick knock of 31 runs in just 9 balls with 3 fours and 3 sixes. 

However, wickets fell at regular intervals after Bhanuka fell and the left-handed keeper-batter remained the highest scorer. However, Kagiso Rabada, playing his first match of the season, smacked 25 runs off 16 balls with 4 fours and a six. 

For KKR, Umesh Yadav picked up 4 wickets and dismantled PBKS batting. Kiwi pacer Tim Southee also picked up 2 wickets while Shivam Mavi, Sunil Narine & Andre Russell managed 1 wicket each.

Earlier, Kolkata Knight Riders captain Shreyas Iyer won the toss & opted to field first against Punjab Kings. This match is being played at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai.
