Kolkata Knight Riders beat Royal Challengers Bangalore by 21 runs in the 36th match of the IPL 2023 at the M Chinnaswamy Stadium in Bangalore on Wednesday. 

Put into bat first, KKR posted a challenging total of 200/5 in 20 overs. In reply, despite brilliant fifty by Virat Kohli, RCB managed to score 179/8.

With this victory, KKR moves up in the IPL points table to 7th spot. On the other hand, RCB suffered their 4th defeat and are now at No.5.
