The ongoing IPL 2022 Mega Auction has stopped midway due to an unfortunate incident. The auctioneer, Hugh Edmeads, collapsed midway through the auction. 

This happened when teams were bidding for Wanindu Hasaranga. The bidding reached 10.75 crores when suddenly, the auctioneer collapsed due to reasons unknown till now. 

The auction has been indefinitely stopped for the moment as we await updates on Hugh and hope he's fine.
