IND vs BAN: With historical knocks from Ishan Kishan and Virat Kohli, team India posted a gigantic total of 409/8 against Bangladesh in the 3rd ODI. While Kishan smacked the fastest ODI double century, Kohli scored his 72nd international ton to have the 2nd most centuries to his name.
After India lost Shikhar Dhawan (3) in the 5th over, Ishan Kishan and Virat Kohli got together to etch a humongous 290-run partnership for the 2nd wicket. While Ishan Kishan broke a flurry of records – smacking the fastest double century in ODI history, as well as becoming the first batter to convert his maiden hundred to a double hundred.
Virat Kohli on other hand smacked an ODI ton after 40 long months, and increase his century tally to 72, now ahead of Ricky Ponting and only behind Sachin's record of 100 tons. For Bangladesh, Taskin Ahmed, Ebadot Hossain and Shakib Al Hasan grabbed 2 wickets each while Mehidy Hasan Miraz registered 1 wicket.
Earlier, Bangladesh captain Litton Das won the toss & opted to bowl first against India in the 3rd ODI. Bangladesh have already won the 3-match series 2-0. This match is being played at Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium, Chattogram.
