Veteran pacer Jaydev Unadkat has been rewarded for his consistent performances in domestic cricket as he has received a call-up to India's Test squad for the 2-match series against Bangladesh. 

Unadkat will be replacing an injured Mohammed Shami, who attained an injury prior to the tour to Bangladesh. Jaydev Unadkat played his last international Test all the way back in December against South Africa, where he went wicketless. 

India are set to play 2 Tests against Bangladesh and would look to bounce back from an embarrassing ODI series loss against the hosts. The 1st Test is scheduled to be played from December 14th in Chattogram while the 2nd Test will be played from December 22nd at
