SA vs ENG: Jofra Archer stepped up in his second match on international comeback, picking up 6 wickets against South Africa in the 3rd ODI. Archer has announced his comeback to the cricket circuit with an impactful performance.
South Africa, chasing a target of 347 runs, seemed stable at one point in completing the chase, and were moving towards a 3-0 clean sweep. However, Archer's bowling made the Proteas struggle and eventually, England won the match by 59 runs after bowling out the home team for 287 runs in 43.1 overs.
Archer started with Rassie van der Dussen's (5) wicket. The English pacer then dismissed Aiden Markram (39), David Miller (13), Heinrich Klaasen (80) and Wayne Parnell (34), and finally dismissed Tabrazi Shamsi (1) to win the match for England. Jofra Archer finished with 6/40 in his 9.1 overs, which is his best bowling performance in ODIs.
