KAR vs PES PSL 8: Courtesy of explosive batting by Tom Kohler-Cadmore and a responsible fifty by captain Babar Azam, Peshawar Zalmi posted 199/5 against Karachi Kings in the 2nd match of Pakistan Super League 2023. 

While opener Mohammad Haris (10) and number 3 Saim Ayub (1) were dismissed in the 2nd over, captain Babar Azam got together with Tom Kohler-Cadmore as the duo added a majestic 139 runs in 81 balls for the 3rd wicket. 

The fantastic partnership was broken as Imran Tahir got rid of Babar in the 16th over after the latter scored 68 runs with 46 balls including 7 fours & a six. Kohler-Cadmore on the other end went on smacking, eventually finishing with a personal score of 92 runs off 50 balls with 7 fours & 6 sixes.

For Karachi Kings, Mir Hamza, Andrew Tye, Ben Cutting and Imran Tahir managed 1 wicket each.

Earlier, Karachi Kings captain Imad Wasim won the toss & opted to bowl first against Peshawar Zalmi in the 2nd match of PSL 8. This match is being played at National Stadium, Karachi.
