With the help of fifties from openers, team India managed to post 179/5 against South Africa in a must-win game to stay alive in the series.
Ruturaj Gaikwad gained form & smacked 57 runs off 35 deliveries with 7 fours & 2 sixes while Ishan Kishan scored 54 runs in 35 deliveries, including 5 fours & 2 sixes. Hardik Pandya scored an unbeaten 31 runs in 21 balls at the end to help team India set a target of 180 against the Proteas.
For South Africa, Dwaine Pretorius picked up 2 wickets while Kagiso Rabada, Tabraiz Shamsi and Keshav Maharaj picked up 1 wicket each.
