Heinrich Klaasen, who came in for Tristan Stubbs in this match, smacked his first half-century outside his country as he scored 81 runs off 45 deliveries with 7 fours & 5 sixes. Captain Temba Bavuma contributed with 35 runs off 30 deliveries with 4 fours & a six.
For India, Bhuvneshwar Kumar picked up 4 wickets but the rest of the bowlers failed to capitalize on it. Yuzvendra Chahal & Harshal Patel also picked up 1 wicket each.
In the first innings, South African bowlers displayed an exceptional performance, restricting team India to 148/6 in 20 overs.
