Mark Ramprakash to take charge of England Lions
May 26 (CRICKETNMORE) - Mark Ramprakash is to take over as head coach of the Lions on an interim basis for the matches against India A and West Indies A this summer.
Former England cricketer will cover for Andy Flower, who will take on additional duties due to Andrew Strauss' leave.
Flower said: "While taking on additional day-to-day duties following Andrew's extended leave, I wanted to ensure the Lions were adequately supported with a high-quality coach, and we believe that Mark Ramprakash is a perfect replacement to lead the team this summer.
