With another dominating performances in all the departments, New Zealand defeated Scotland by 102 runs in the 2nd T20I, clean sweeping the 2-match T20I series 2-0.
After opting to bat first, New Zealand were powered to a massive total of 254/5 in 20 overs. Mark Chapman was the top scorer with 83 runs off 44 balls with 5 fours & 7 sixes while Michael Bracewell remained unbeaten on 61 runs off just 25 balls with 8 fours & 3 sixes.
In reply, the Scottish team was halted to 152/9 in 20 overs, losing the match by 102 runs. Chris Greaves was the top scorer with 37 runs off 29 balls while none of the other batters were able to cross the 30-run mark.
For New Zealand, Michael Rippon & James Neesham picked up 2 wickets each while Micahel Bracewell, Ben Sears, Mitchell Santner and Ish Sodhi grabbed 1 wicket each.
Earlier, New Zealand captain Mitchell Santner won the toss & opted to bat first against Scotland in the 2nd T20I. This match was played at Grange Cricket Club, Edinburgh.
