NZ vs IND 1st T20I: The 1st T20I between New Zealand and India at Wellington has been called off due to rain. The rain was so persistent that even the coin toss didn't take place. 

There were persistent rains right before the toss was scheduled to happen. The rain stopped for a while but continued even heavier than before. 

At Wellington, only pitch covers were available and the outfield covers weren't there. With the heavy rainfall, the umpires decided that the outfield would not be prepared in time for the match to start even with reduced overs.

The 2nd T20I is scheduled to be played on November 20th (Sunday), where the two teams will clash at Bay Oval, Mount Maunganui. The third T20I will be played at McLean Park, Napier.
