For Australia, Nathan Lyon picked up 5 wickets in the second innings after going wicketless in the first innings. Captain Pat Cummins also picked up 3 wickets to restrict Pakistan to a total of 235/10.
Imam-ul-Haq remained the highest run scorer for Pakistan in the second innings with 70 runs while captain Babar Azam contributed with 55 runs.
Australia managed to win their first test series in Asia since 2011. The first two tests ended in a draw and after a brave declaration in the third test, Australia clinched the 3-match series 1-0.
Earlier, Australia posted 391/10 in the first innings after opting to bat first. In reply, Pakistan were bowled out for a total of 268. Australians declared their second innings at 227/3, setting a target of 351 runs for the hosts.
