PAK vs NZ: Devon Conway etched the first century of 2023 as New Zealand stood steady at 226/1 at Tea on Day 1. New Zealand lost just 1 wicket in the 2nd session of play.
Tom Latham fell soon after lunch, scoring 71 runs off 100 balls with 9 fours. Along with Conway, Latham etched an opening partnership of 134 runs in 35 overs. Naseem Shah got the only wicket for Pakistan.
Conway continued handsomely on the other end, scoring an unbeaten 120 runs with 16 fours & a six. He is joined by Kane Williamson (29*) in the middle, with the 2nd wicket partnership standing at 92 runs.
Earlier, New Zealand captain Tim Southee won the toss & opted to bat first against Pakistan in the 2nd Test. This match is being played at National Stadium, Karachi.
